The User shall be solely responsible for all activities happening under his/her Username whether authorized or not. 6. Gomediajobs reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, discontinue or terminate the Services of the web-site or reject any or all entries/blogs at their absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and without any liability to the User.

7. Registering on Gomediajobs

  • When a User registers with Gomediajobs Site, the User will be asked to provide the Company with certain information including, without limitation, your first name, last name, contact number(s), a valid email address. You agree that the information provided by you is true and accurate and there is no misrepresentation of facts, done for the purpose of obtaining job information, or otherwise.
  • You understand and acknowledge that You have no ownership rights in Your account and that if You cancel Your Gomediajobs account or if your account is terminated, all Your account information, including resumes, profiles, cover letters, saved jobs, will be marked as deleted in and may be deleted from our databases and will be removed from any public area of the Websites. In addition, third parties may retain saved copies of Your Information.
  • In addition to the Terms of Use and any privacy policy applicable to our Website, You understand and agree that we may disclose to third parties, on an anonymous basis, certain aggregate information contained in your registration application.   • The employer will provide complete and accurate information when posting a job(s) that will help the User to take an informed decision to apply for the job posting
  • The Employer will obtain all necessary licenses and permits for posting a job on the Gomediajobs website. The Employer indemnifies and agrees to keep the company indemnified against all demands, claims and damages which may arise out of the said job posting.
  • 10. Account security responsibility applicable to Employers additionally

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access information and password(s). You shall be responsible for all uses of your Web Site registrations and passwords, whether or not authorized by You. You are not authorized to share your password or other account access information with any other party, temporarily or permanently. You agree to immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of your Account, and/or passwords.
  • Employers are solely responsible for their postings on the Website. We shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason, made by any entity posting jobs on our Website.
  • You understand and acknowledge that if You cancel Your employer account or Your employer account is terminated, all Your account information, including saved resumes, network contacts, and email mailing lists, will be marked as deleted in and may be deleted from our databases.
  • In order to protect our Users from commercial advertising or solicitation, Gomediajobs reserves the right to restrict the number of e-mails which an employer may send to Users to a number which GoMediajobs deems appropriate in its sole discretion.
  • 11. Use of Gomediajobs services
    The job search, job posting, resume Database and all other features/ services may be used by either individuals seeking employment opportunities or by employers seeking potential employees for their respective companies.

    12. Prohibited Uses on the Website

    Gomediajobs specifically prohibit its Users; and the Users agree not to undertake the following:

    FOR REGISTERED USERS

  • Post more than one copy of the same resume at one time
  • Request password or any other confidential information for other Users
  • FOR EMPLOYERS

  • Post any job openings for any competitor of Gomediajobs or post any link that may link the site to the competitor site(s).
  • Post any link/ hyperlink or any such information that may not be relevant to the specific job or may be misleading to the Users
  • Post more than one job or job description, more than one location, or more than one job category, unless agreed on with Gomediajobs;
  • Post sexual services or seek employees for jobs of a sexual nature;
  • Use Database on the site for any other purpose than employers looking out for employees, including but not limited to, selling and promoting any products or services.
  • Send unsolicited mail or e-mail, making unsolicited phone calls or send unsolicited faxes regarding promotions and/or advertising of products or services to a user of the Website.
  • Request password or any other confidential information for other prospective or potential candidates.
  • GENERAL PROHIBITED USES

  • Post any information that is inaccurate/ incorrect or not your own or which you do not have permission to use.
  • Delete or revise any material posted by any other user, person or entity.
  • The User undertakes not to resell or assign his/her rights or obligations under this Terms & Conditions. User also agrees not to make any unauthorized commercial use of the Service.
  • Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up any part or whole of the Website
  • Use the Website Services for any unlawful purpose or any illegal activity, or post or submit any content, resume, or job posting that is defamatory, libelous, implicitly or explicitly offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety or could cause harassment to any person or include any links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind, as determined by our discretion.
  • Gomediajobs authorizes User to view and access of the content available on or from the web-site solely for their personal use.   • Endorse a particular political party, political agenda, political position or issue; or promote a particular religion
  • Users are prohibited to provide information about illegal activities or other activities prohibited by these Terms, including without limitation, making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, or provides or creates computer viruses or pirating any media.
  • In the event of User undertaking in part or whole any of, but not limited to the above mentioned aforesaid terms, Gomediajobs may in its sole discretion, restrict or terminate the offending User's ability to access the Website. They may also determine whether to take any other actions or to remove or request the removal of the User Content. Gomediajobs has no liability or responsibility to Users for performance or non performance of such activities. Additionally, we have the right to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against the offending user as per law.

    13. Termination
    Gomediajobs may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect, without prior notice and without assigning any reason/s whatsoever and without any prejudice to any/all other rights in the following events:

  • On completion of the term for which the user or the Employer engages the services of Gomediajobs.
  • If in the opinion of the Company, the User or the Employer has breached any of the terms and conditions of this agreement.
  • If, in the opinion of the Company or/and any regulatory authority, it is not in the public interest to continue providing the Service to the User or the Employer for any reason.
  • If the User or the Employer is declared a bankrupt or/and enters into any compromise or arrangement with its creditors.
  • On writing and on such terms as agreed to by the parties mutually in writing.
  • 14. Suspension of Service

  • If any monies payable by the User to the Company are not paid on the due date, the Company may suspend the Service provided to the User.
  • When the Service subscribed for is suspended for any reason whatsoever the User shall continue to be liable for all charges and fee notwithstanding such suspension.
  • Upon subsequent payment by the User of such monies as demanded by Gomediajobs, we may at our discretion and subject to such terms as it deems proper, reconnect the Service.
  • 15. Discontinuation or Modification of Service

  • The Company reserves the unilateral right to add to /and/or change and/or delete and/or end or prematurely withdraw its Service or any part thereof at anytime with or without notice to the User for any reason including on account of business exigencies and/or regulatory or statutory changes.
  • There shall be no liability on behalf of the Company to the User or any third party in case the Company exercises its unilateral right to modify or discontinue the Service.
  • 16. Governing Laws and Jurisdiction
    The Agreement shall be governed by the Laws of India. The Courts of law at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under this agreement.

    17. Revision of Terms of Use
